About Us
SAC was formed in 1990 for the purpose of fostering and advancing the
operation of radio controlled model aircraft for pleasure, competition, and
public demonstration. The club contains a friendly group of people
ranging from ages 8 to "been around for a while." Experience
level of the membership ranges from beginner to those with over thirty years
experience flying radio control. Our members fly various types of
aircraft including, but not limited to, sport, scale, warbirds, electric,
giant scale, and helicopters. Club membership is open to anyone who
has an interest in model aircraft building and flying. Anyone
interested is welcome to attend our monthly meeting or drop by the field to
talk with some experienced flyers.
